BEN HOLDER, a reincarnation surely of both the world famous Italian violin virtuoso Paganini, and the great jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli, who with guitarist supremo Django Reinhardt formed the famous Quintette Hot Club du France in 1934.
Ben’s astonishing brilliance has over many years playing for JASG never ceased to leave our audiences breathless with amazement, and his ‘Gypsy Jazz’ programmes continue to draw in the crowds (NB his Gypsy Jazz gig on June 6th at St. Giles).
His Autumn gig with us will feature Ben in more swinging relaxed mood with his group ‘The Ben Holder Four’ and will include his wonderful vocals, singing his own songs. Another. memorable evening with this ever popular and multi-talented musician.
